Setting up an effective Social Media Marketing plan for your casino can be a challenge. It isn’t just about Tweeting and Facebooking; there’s a lot more to it. Without knowing where you want to go, planning a route is futile. Your first step is measuring your current success though tracking and analytics.
Locomotive’s Social Media Marketing plan and execution process will help ease your “learning curve” and help you define just what your organization needs out of the Social realm.Our Social Media process is comprised of two core phases. First, “The Plan”. After that, “The Execution”.
The Plan
In this stage we typically embark through a series of discovery sessions to determine your goals for your casino’s Social Media marketing program. How and what are you intending to achieve? How we are going to measure? Who is involved? What kind of time and budget is allocated?
This discovery session will produce a document, which concisely covers the following ten topics:
- Your casino’s Social Media Mission Statement
- A series of objectives, goals, success criteria, implementation plans and each objective’s owner within your organization – complete with timeframes
- Team communications/collaboration plan
- Your Social Media strategy and a comprehensive content plan
- Social Media teams and possibly departments
- A recommendation of most relevant Social Media sites for the first phase of your plan
- Social Media tools to help you execute
- A Social Media content production and deployment process
- Managing, reporting and results tracking recommendations
- Reporting metrics
This will be the Social Media “bible” for your casino. It will provide Locomotive an accurate understanding of what we’re setting out to accomplish in terms of your Social Media strategy, how we’re going to do it, and what metrics we’ll be measuring to gauge success. Out of this discover phase, we’ll also know who is involved from either team, and how much time each team member is resourced for. From here, we move into “The Execution”.
The Execution
This is where the Locomotive team works in partnership with your resources to get the first round of our Social Media plan executed. Sticking to budget and timeline, we implement and configure our Social Media tools and services. We’ll coach you through the process and get your team members publishing content. We’ll also help gather and measure results – impressions, times spent, frequency, etc.
Every month we see how the chips are stacking against your goals. And based on the progress we see, we can adjust the campaign monthly, even, to expand or contract the time line.
